Frequently Asked Questions

Can we rent your space for a private event?

Absolutely! If you’re interested in renting this space for a private event, visit our private event page.

Is there an age limit to pouring candles?

We recommend ages eight and up for candle pouring, but you know your child best, and if you would like to pour with your child, we trust your judgment.

Can we bring food and drink?

We welcome all outside food and beverages. We ask that you eat and drink responsibly in our space.

Can I make more than one product?

We would love to help you make more than one product. You can create as many as you like.

Can I bring my own vessel and refill it?

You receive a $2 credit toward pouring a candle when you bring one of our vessels for a refill. Trimming your wicks and treating your candle nicely allows you to reuse your vessel multiple times - saving you money and the planet.

We can inspect other vessels and see if we have a proper wick size, but we cannot promise any other vessel you bring will work with our wicks.

How long must we wait for our candle to “cool”?

It takes about 20-30 minutes for your candle to cure before it can safely travel. You can take your products with you the same day, but please note that any products made with wax need to finish curing for seven days to ensure a good fragrance throw and even burn/melt.

Parkville has a lot to offer, and we promise your wait will be well spent. Also, we offer a variety of other products you can make while waiting for your candle.
